Custom Server Icon

What is a server icon?​

A server icon is the image displayed next to your server in the server browser for Minecraft. The server’s icon needs to be 64x64 pixels in size, be named “server-icon”, and have the .png file extension.

Formatting your image​

  1. Open the Pixlr E web-app, which you can use to format your image.
  2. Click “Create New”, then in the “Name” field enter “server-icon” as the name, and in the “width” & “height” fields enter “64” as the size for the image.
  3. Upload your image to the blank canvas
  4. Download the image as a .png file

Making your image the server icon​

  1. Go to the file manager for your server, and upload the image in your root directory.
  2. Restart the server, and you’ve got yourself a new server icon!
